शादी के दिन एक अटैची की तरफ इशारा करती नवविवाहित दुल्हन ने अपने पति से वादा लिया था कि वह उस अटैची को कभी नहीं खोलेंगे।
उसके पति ने भी उससे वादा किया कि वह बिना उसके परमिशन के उस अटैची को कभी नहीं खोलेगा।
शादी के पचासवें साल में,
जब पत्नी बिस्तर पर ज़िंदगी की आखरी साँसे ले रही थी तो पति ने अपनी पत्नी को उस अटैची की याद दिला दी।
पत्नी बोली: अब इस अटैची का राज़ खोलने का वक़्त आ गया हैं,
अब आप इस अटैची को खोल सकते हो।
पति ने जब अटैची को खोला तो उससे दो गुड़िया और एक लाख रुपए बाहर निकलें।

पति ने पूछा तो पत्नी बोली,
"मेरी माँ ने मुझे सफल शादी का राज़ दिया,
उसने सलाह दी कि गुस्सा पीना बहुत अच्छा हैं।
माँ ने मुझे ये तरीका बताया कि जब भी उसे अपने पति की किसी गलत बात पर ग़ुस्सा आये तो पति पर गुस्सा होने के बजाय एक गुड़िया सिल लिया करना।
इसलिए जब भी तुम्हारे बारे में किसी गलत बात पर ग़ुस्सा आता तो मैं एक गुड़िया सी लिया करती थी,
पति दो गुड़ियों को देखकर बहुत खुश हुआ कि उसने अपनी पत्नी को कितना खुश रखा हुआ हैं,
सफल दाम्पत्य जीवन के पचास वर्ष पूरे होने के बाद उसकी पत्नी ने सिर्फ दो गुड़िया बनाई।
जिज्ञासा में पति ने अटैची में रखें करीब एक लाख रुपए के बारे में पूछा तो पत्नी बोली,
"मैंने ये एक लाख रुपए गुडिया बेचकर इकठ्ठा किए हैं"
इतना सुनते ही पति को अपनी सभी गलतियों का एहसास हुआ और उसने अपनी पत्नी से सिर झुकाते हुए माफी मांगी।
पत्नी का दिल इतना बड़ा था कि उसने माफ कर दिया।

हमेशा मिलजुल कर अपने प्यार को बढ़ाने के लिए कुछ न कुछ खास करना चाहिए,
सबसे अहम बात दोनों को अपनी जिंदगी में एक दूसरे को बराबर समझना चाहिए!

In curiosity, the husband asked about one lakh rupees kept in the briefcase, then the wife said,
"I have collected this one lakh rupees by selling dolls"
On hearing this, the husband realized all his mistakes and bowed his head and apologized to his wife.
The wife's heart was so big that she forgave.
